Swiss Steak Dinner
Grape JAMboree
Geneva's Grape Jamboree, held during the last full weekend in September, draws thousands of people from all over the country. The Grand River Valley growing region is perched atop the remnants of glacial beaches, creating a rich and fertile soil that has served as a perfect place for Ohio vineyards to grow rich and flavorful grapes for generations. The Grape Jamboree celebrates the grape harvest and as part of that tradition, the Geneva United Methodist Church holds it annual Swiss Steak Dinner. The dinners include Swiss Steak, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, beverages, and pie. For those not wanting Swiss Steak, we also provide Sloppy Joe's as an alternative.
The Swiss Steak Dinner is one of our favorite times of year. We enjoy the challenge of collaborating for a common purpose.
